Here I am - a day late, for which I must apologise - the prep for my up and coming gigs is a bit bigger task than expected….. However, the delay has allowed me to to include a most relevant piece by Linda Caroll, whom I greatly admire.
I set This Creative Adventure up primarily as an organ to examine & evaluate the Gurus, and to pass on their best “Value for Your Money” to my readers. Thankfully, I am not the only one watching with intent, so first let me bring Karen Cherry to your attention. Karen has exposed a seriously misleading “Guru” article on how to use tags for growth. Karen’s warning is supported by a paragraph from Hamish McKenzie - a co-founder of Substack.
I too had read that original article - with interest - and had decided to dig deeper….. Karen beat me too it, and did a better job than I could have done. Having drafted this message, about to schedule, when Linda’s equally pertinent piece popped up in my inbox.
I just had to read, think, redraft….. (ie: omit/postpone half) that you could read both Karen and Linda’s posts. I believe you will see your developing Authorship Career in a new light.
Do not, however, let either post dissuade you from continuing.

I’d be grateful if you would return here and comment/restack.
See you Soon, Maurice
Neither of those links are clickable Maurice and if I paste them into a browser as is neither of them lead to the post you were expecting them to.
I saw this fly by in notes too, but just ignored it. I do like Karen Cherry though -- good, down-to-earth, realistic advice. She's one of the few "Substack stacks" I subscribe to.
