Substack, being the “Remarkable for Caring” platform, gives us a multitude of “Authors Who Care” What is equally remarkable is that so many choose to actually support each other, across so many social and genre divides. I like that, tremendously, don’t you too ?
HALLO GOLDIE !
Earlier this year, whilst promoting Suzanne Taylor’s brilliant World Saving Essays concept, I met Diana van Eyk, She impressed me with her take on how Wars are not only devastating for the victims, but also a Major Cause of Global Pollution. In other words, WE Are All their Victims. War Burns vast amounts of Petrochemicals, in the quest to extract even more evil Petropollutants. All paid for by our taxes converted to Weaponry and Oil shareholder profits. When you buy fossil fuels, you kill children. Fact. Fact not reported in mainstream media. This is the Profound message that Diana Pens so well….
We can take Heart in another Fact;- Ever less people believe the the mainstream media reporting is honest. Ever more Good Folk actively filter the Truth from the dross…. on the internet, Ever more Good Folk contribute, just as Diana does; here is what some Substackers write about Her….
“Succinct and incisive. Gets straight to the Heart of the Matter”
“Diana, thankyou for the very thoughtful and articulate presentation today, Your analysis was accurate, sensible and compassionate”
“An articulate, objective and concise statement which exposes the very core of what ails national & world societies right now. I commend you, Diana”
“Thankyou, Diana, for this beautiful prayer”
“Shukran”
“Thanks for the resistance links. You inspired me to do a column on BDS”
This last one from Mark at Democracyink prompted me to have a look at BDS, a movement that promotes the Boycotting of Israeli Goods, world wide…. I discover that Nederland’s leading supermarket and Ben & Jerry’s and Unilever and dozens more Empires are financially supporting the current Holocaust.

Are you someone with a Caring Heart ?
Now I ain’t someone who likes to get all het up by reading rants. There are odd times when I realize that I have subscribed to a ranter. Easy peasey unsub Byeee !
Diana is no ranter. In between her thought provoking posts you will sometimes find pertinent, peaceful poetry, and quite often her own lovely artwork. I think it’s probably a mechanism she uses to relieve her stress. I notice that she reads almost every comment and frequently responds in full. She gets a lot of comments…. Any author will tell you how much extra work that is. She’s tough and generous, even finding the time to Restack and Crosspost, ie:-point readers to other relevant writings.
What’s so important about that ? … It effectively broadens the discussion, in turn expanding educated awareness, encouraging more of us to take peaceful remedial action.
Are you someone with a Caring Heart ?
You can help by restacking this post, and by reading and restacking Diana. In case you haven’t picked up - I am interviewing this remarkable Lady, publishing on Friday 8th November…. We welcome your feedback, don’t be shy…. Especially if you are considering writing on Substack…. NOW is the time to start…
APROPOS; Then…..
WHY ONE GURU AIN’T ENOUGH !!
Having written stories (mostly in note form), articles, poetry and song lyrics, for decades, for Live Performances, I rarely bothered to publish. Then in 2020 I started to catalogue thousands of pages thinking s’about time… Let’s find a platform !! None appealed, UNTIL - Early last year Substack drifted in. Eighteen months on, and I am as happy as Larry. AND oh ! The support other writers have so freely given. Over recent months there seems to have been a steady increase in the number of Stacks offering tuition on how to work effectively within Substack, how to monetize it, how to understand it all as a budding entrepreneur, and how to lift your writing skills. Each of these are separate fields, each with many sub-divisions. ….. Everyone of them has it’s experts, often multi skilled. Yet No single teacher can possibly know the entire, Nor do Experts always agree.
Some, not all are brilliant teachers. Some are better at marketing themselves than others. One of them claims to be the Only one you will ever need. Ouch. Prices vary tremendously, so as a Newbie searching for pointers…. how the heck would you know which Guru gives the best value for money in each department ? No problem, you can pick it up piecemeal as you progress, sifting the freebies does work. On average, I’d say your progress would be faster if you can pay for a couple of courses at a time. If you simply can’t afford that, then I can probably help with some of what you need. I do not profess to be a Guru, just that I do have a different perception skill, validated by experience.
